An independent jewelry maker and repair store, Design One Jewelers needed a website to broaden its horizons beyond its Clearwater, FL brick and mortar of 35+ years.
I worked with the co-owners to help them write the copy, sort the artwork and then present it in a clean, fresh interface, while still maintaining their identity as a personal, family jeweler.
Experience in Action
One of the owners’ requests was to represent their ability to consult and share their extensive experience working with precious metals and gems. This created an opportunity to put some of that information in a forum where anyone worldwide can find answers and advice for the most common jewelry-related topics.
The FAQ and advice columns helped the site reach 900+ visitors per month in the first year of its launch.
Additionally, I set up the company’s email system, intranet, calendars and documentation storage.
