When American Stage, the largest regional theatre in St. Petersburg, FL, was between marketing directors, their Education department consulted me help develop some printed marketing collateral.
Previously, the marketing collateral was dull and confusing. There were too many fonts and colors, old pictures and clipart, and many other outdated layout techniques.
I worked with the Director of Education to revitalize the department’s Summer Camp programming brochure. I included fresher photos and artwork, consolidated the layout and presented a cleaner, more professional design. Most importantly, Summer Camp looked like it was both fun for kids and appealing to parents!
The overhaul led to a 30% rise in attendance in 2010. I also helped design collateral for a their new series of adult programming, which continues to flourish today.
